Henry Dixon began his company in 1885 making high quality traditional boiled sweets. Now part of Maxons, Henry Dixon’s products are still made with the same care and attention and to the same recipes as when he developed them and made them himself.
All the Dixons Sweets are traditionally made by hand and to recipes passed down from father to son and through the generations of owners since 1885. Tradition is still important today and the new retail bag packaging, relaunched in 2016, shows the very first workforce standing outside Henry Dixon’s original Sheffield factory.
